Going over the old snaps

I was just sorting through our photos, in Lightroom and one of the features you do have is collections… you can create as many collections as you wish and you can even set up smart collections, to include photos, that have keywords, flags, etc.

The above photograph was taken back in September 2011 and it was taken from the Dartmouth side of the River Dart looking over towards Kingswear, in Devon.

Now I love the Devon/Dorset area and would love to move that way.. the pace of life seem less hectic and there is such stunning countryside around as well as that famous Jurassic Coastline that inspires any photographer.

To get to Darmouth, you can take the Paignton Steam  Team and steam your way into Kingswear.  Once you arrive at Kingswear Station, it is a short ferry ride across the river to Dartmouth.

Even though the above picture was taken on a FujiFinepix S5700, you can see the way the houses are set on the hill at Kingswear and how they look over the rear and the river boats.

Should you ever be in the Torquay Bay area, I would highly recommend a day trip to Kingswear and Dartmouth and when we return, hopefully this year sometime we are going to go further up River to Totnes

    1. Thank you, I love Paignton and the surrounding areas… I just can’t go to Devon without doing the Kingswear/Dartmouth trip. I love the Steam Train ride, it is such a lovely place to visit.
